Play Me, I'm Yours! (London Street Pianos)

Play Me, I'm Yours! from Michael Travis on Vimeo.

Play Me, I'm Yours! is an international, street art project by Luke Jerram, which places free-to-use pianos throughout major metropolitan cities. Focusing on the London initiative, this documentary reveals the surprising willingness of the public to engage in and experiment with spontaneous solo and community musical performances when given the opportunity to do so.

It was brought to London by Sing London in time for the 2009 City of London Festival. Interestingly for me, the organiser was Colette Hiller (Cpl. Ferro from James Cameron's Aliens).

Footage shot on location in London at St Paul's Cathedral, Paternoster Square, the Millennium Bridge, Leadenhall Market, Royal Exchange Buildings, St Mary Axe, London Wall, Liverpool Street Station, Soho Square, Carnaby Street and Leicester Square
